Meet ELECT staff and gain program-specific professional development, share best practices, and learn skills to better serve the expectant and parenting teens of Pennsylvania.
In 1990 a unique partnership was established between the Pennsylvania Departments of Education and Human Services. This partnership resulted in the creation of the Education Leading to Employment and Career Training (ELECT) Initiative. ELECT was designed to expand the services of existing teen parent programs and provide comprehensive support services to students who meet the income eligibility requirements.
Sponsored by Pennsylvania’s Departments of Education and Human Services, in partnership with Center for Schools and Communities.
